Sound & Stillness

A guided practice to create space, reconnect with yourself, and return to the wisdom already within.

Welcome. This time is yours.

Settle into a comfortable place where you can be uninterrupted. Put on your headphones, silence your notifications, and give yourself permission to simply be here.

Set aside about 25–30 minutes for the full experience, including time to receive the sound and gently return to your day afterward.

There is nothing to achieve and nowhere else you need to be.

ARRIVE

Begin with your breath.

Place one hand over your heart and the other over your belly.

Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of 4.
Hold gently for a count of 4.
Exhale slowly for a count of 6.

Repeat this cycle three times, allowing each breath to bring you more fully into the present moment.

Notice what changes when you give yourself permission to slow down.

VOICE

Feel the vibration within you.

Take a slow, full breath in.

As you exhale, allow the sound OM (or just hum) to emerge naturally. There is no right note and nothing to perfect.

Feel the vibration move through your chest, throat, and body.

Repeat three times, allowing each sound to last for the length of your exhale.

Notice the space that remains when the sound becomes still.

RECEIVE

Let the sound meet you where you are.

Settle into a position where your body can fully rest. Close your eyes if that feels comfortable.

As the sound begins, allow yourself to listen without needing to understand, analyze, or make anything happen.

Simply receive.

When you're ready, press ▶ to begin.

BE STILL

Let the silence be part of the practice.

When the final sound fades, resist the urge to immediately move on.

Remain where you are for a few moments. Notice the silence that follows the sound.

Notice your body.
Notice the space around you.
Notice what is here without needing to change it.

When you're ready to return, begin with your breath.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose.

Exhale fully through your mouth.

Repeat this two more times, allowing each breath to bring your awareness back into your body and into the space around you.

Gently begin to move your fingers and toes. If your eyes are closed, allow them to open when you're ready.

Take your time. There is nowhere you need to rush to.

REFLECT

Notice what is here now.

There is nothing you need to figure out. Simply notice what arose during the experience.

You can sit with these questions, write whatever comes, or simply carry them with you:

What did I feel, notice, or release?

Where in my body do I feel more open, spacious, or alive?

What am I remembering about myself right now?

Let whatever came forward be enough.

RETURN

Carry this with you.

Before you move back into your day, take one final breath.

Notice how you feel now compared with when you arrived.

You don't need to hold onto this feeling or make anything happen next. Simply remember that you can return to this space whenever you need it.

The sound is yours to return to. You can download the 20-minute gong meditation above and keep it with you for the moments when you need space to pause, listen, and reconnect.

Come home to yourself.
